Programs
At Grace Bible Church we have many different groups and programs that you can become involved in. Here is a short explanation of what they are:
Children Ministry: Church School (CS)
“Making future leaders.” Children are encouraged to be a part of our worship experience. During the “message” time we have a special program set up for our toddlers and elementary age kids. Our children are taught principles of God’s Word through stories, events, and camps held on special occasions.
Junior High and High School Ministry
Special weekly programs for teens are offered through out the year to teach and equip the young people for their future. This is the most receptive age in life therefore we are very strong in targeting this age group. We encourage them to minister in God’s house.
College Ministry (Every Nation Campus Ministries Japan)
“Reach the Campus and Reach the World”. We reach young people on campus because that is where the future leaders and those who are able to influence of our nation are. We do this with small groups on campuses in the Kanto area. We train young people as leaders, recognizing that they have the passion and energy to keep the church on fire.
Professional/Singles Ministry
This is the stage of life that can be used for personal maturing and great impact for the Kingdom of God. Relationships are fostered through small groups, meeting regularly for the purpose of being built up and equipped to serve the Lord . Events are planned through out the year to foster interaction with the churched and the un-churched.
Couples and Parents
We feel very strongly in the development of good families. The husband and wife relationship is the core of the family and much emphasis is placed on this. We also offer seminars on child raising knowing that this is not an easy task. There are different circles and activities in the church for parents who are just beginning.
4:12 Groups (small groups)
We call our small group ministry 4:12, taken this from Ephesians 4:12 which teaches that the responsibility of a church is to raise up believers who are equipped to do the ministry of the Lord. “Every Member is a Minister”. These groups serve as a practical tool to help people achieve this; thorugh accountability to one another, prayer for one another, helping one another, and assisting each other to reach out to friends and family with the love of Jesus.
Other Programs
In the church we offer many different programs. Sometimes we will have special cooking classes or dance workshops. We encourage our members to use whatever talents they have to be a blessing to others. This is part of the joy of our church. We are always wanting to try something new.
